Do you know about Grace O’Malley?
She was an Irish pirate.
This musical is her biography.

When she was alived, England had been getting stronger.
Queen Elizabeth ordered her vessel to control Ireland.
There were many kinds of people in Ireland.
Grace O'Malley's family was one of them and they were pirates.

She fought to defend from England, but she arrested.
8 years later, she was liberated, and she went back to her country.
The life an Irish person was too hard for her.

She decided to present herself to the Queen in court.
She went by pirate ship to London, where she met the Queen.
She asked the Queen to recognise the Irish people's human rights.

She went to London by her pirate ship, and she met the Queen.
She asked the Queen to admit the Irish's human rights.
The Queen agreed to her requests.

I don't know much about the history of Ireland,but this country has had many problems with

England in the past.

This story is fictional,but Grace O'Malley lived about 400 years ago.

I would like to go Ireland.

I saw the Kabuki in Tokyo.
I went to see it with my parents and a younger sister.
"Tyushin-gura" was playing there.

It was great and excellent!!

I had never seen the Kabuki, but I knew this story,"Tyushin-gura".
I watched it several times on TV.

Next year, the Kabukiza building will be replaced.Because this building is very old, if there is an earthquake,this building will not be able to save our lives.

New year, special programs'll be played at this theatre.
"Kanjintyo" is a one of the most famous story of Kabuki.
We want to see it, but the tickets are very expensive!!
(It is 20000yen.)

I am worried about whether the ticket should be bought.

Last weekend,I went to see the musical "AIDA".
"AIDA" is the opera that Verdi composed to celebrate the Suez Canal was opened in 1871.
Therefore, I watched a musical version at Tokyo in this time.
Elton Jhon composed all songs.
The story is almost same.

Radames is an Egyptian.He is a general of the Egypt's Army and he will marry with Amneris is a prinncess of Egypt.
But he meets Aida when he invades her coutry. She is taken a prisoner,and she works under

a princess as a waiting maid.
A princess is pleased with her because of she can understand the princess's position.
Aida is also a princess of a hostile country.
Rdames was charmed by Aida has a pride and strong will.
Aida also was charmed Radames, but they are the enemy each other.

The day before Radanes and a princess will have a wedding,Aida's father,he is a king of heir country,is caught.Aida and her sompatriots plan that they will run away from here with their king tomorrow.

A king and his compatriots can run away with Radames's help, but Aida can't do.
The king of Egypt and the princess know they have loved each other.
The king say to them die in the different boxes under the ground, but a princess ask him

that they can die together.
Radames and Aida can die together under the ground.

It's like "Romeo and Juliet".

The singer played Aida sung well! She played "Elphaba" in Wicked. Her voice is alto,it is a charming. 2weeks later, I will go to see the Kabuki with my family. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Yesterday, I went shopping at the departmentstore.
I found "Marusei's Butter Sand".
I think this is one of the famous sweets in Hokkaido.

There are many farms in Hokkaido.
And there is a lot of butter and milk made there.
They are ingedients of sweets.
So there are many kinds of sweet shops.

For example,ROYCE(It's a chocolate shop.),Rokkatei,LeTAO and ISHIYA("Shiroikoibito" is a most famous sweets of Ishiya.).

Well,"Marusei's Butter Sand" is sold at Rokkatei.
There are a generous serving of butter with raisins between cookies.
It's delicious! I like it.
